Dr Chris Robinson is a UK-qualified doctor who completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) at the University of Manchester. Dr Robinson holds fellowships with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), Australian Institute of Dermatology (FAID) (Dr Robinson is not a Dermatologist) and the Skin Cancer College Australia (FSSCA). Dr Robinson has a Masters with Distinction in Skin Cancer (UQ) and holds an academic position as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland in Skin Cancer. Dr Robinson works as a GP with Specialist Interest in Skin Cancer at the Princess Alexander Hospital.
As a full-time Skin Cancer Doctor, Dr Robinson is known for his meticulous approach to patient care and his exceptional skin cancer detection rates for basal cell carcinoma (BCC), squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), and Melanoma. His expertise extends to reconstructive skin cancer surgery utilising techniques such as skin flaps and grafts striving to achieve excellent tumour clearance and cosmetic outcomes. Dr Robinson is also trained in Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) (Galderma), offering non-surgical management options for pre-cancerous conditions and some early-stage Non Melanoma skin cancers.
Dr Robinson collaborates closely with leading plastic surgeons and Mohs surgeons to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients requiring specialised care for more complex cases.
