What is skin needling?
Skin needling, also known as micro needling, involves creating tiny puncture channels that encourage an organic collagen renewal and regeneration response. This wound healing response stimulates new collagen and elastin formation which then assists with acne scarring. Skin needling is effective for improving the appearance of acne scars, fine lines and treating pigmentation.

How it works.
Skin needling treatments, also known as microneedling or collagen induction therapy, work by gliding a device with micro-needles across the skin creating injury to the epidermis and dermis. These injuries stimulate the skin’s natural healing processes, triggering the production of collagen and elastin. In addition to treating pores, fine wrinkling, loss of elasticity, minor acne scarring and other types of scarring, it also enables topical applications to penetrate deeper into the skin, increasing their effectiveness.
Results will be seen after some months, usually as the collagen re-organizes and new collagen is formed. Multiple treatments may be required.
