This patient underwent 4 sessions of RF needling and 4 sessions of Pulse Dye Laser to treat acne scarring and post-inflammatory inflammation. The “before” image shows visible acne scars, uneven skin texture, and redness. The “after” image reveals a smoother skin texture, reduced scars, and a more even skin tone, demonstrating significant improvement.

Summary

The patient presented with a textured, slightly atrophic scar on the scalp. To address this concern, we administered a series of 8 Fraxel 1550 treatments aimed at smoothing and blending the scar tissue while improving its atrophic appearance. Following these sessions, significant improvement was noted, enhancing the patient’s candidacy for achieving optimal results with cosmetic tattooing.

The power of combination laser treatments!

This patient presented with concerns on her chest which she wanted to reduce to appearance of – bearing in mind, the older the concerns are, the harder they can be to treat!

If you look closely, there is vascular inflammation, hyper pigmentation (brown) surrounding the area and what we would class a hypo pigmented (white) scar needing some rejuvenation.

With the use of a combination of prescription home care, the Pulse Dye Laser and the Fraxel Laser, we were able to work on all components of concern on the chest to give to best possible outcome.

This patient is approximately only half way through her treatment plan so with such success so early on, we anticipate even more improvement to come!

A hypertrophic scar is a thick raised scar that’s an abnormal response to wound healing. They more commonly occur in taut skin areas following skin trauma, burns or surgical incisions.

Our patient had intralesional corticosteroid injections and 6 rounds of Pulsed Dye Laser, which led to a fantastic improvement in the scars appearance. We could perform Fraxel Lasering to further blend the remaining scar tissue.

This gentleman had a skin cancer on his nose excised by Dr M and closed with a full thickness skin graft. It unfortunately became infected and developed a cyst post-operatively. This was treated with antibiotics, then Dr M performed scar revision with the Erbium:YAG laser to give amazing final results.

This gentleman has rosacea, leading to gradual thickening of his nose over the years (known as rhinopyhyma). As you can see, his pores were also quite enlarged. He also developed a skin cancer on his nose, which then required excision and skin graft. On the background of all of that, he had sunspots and damage. 1 treatment by Dr M with the CO2 laser has addressed all these issues in the one session, giving him back his 40 year old nose, and also cleaning up pre-cancerous changes. Note the shrunken pores also.
