Summary

Removing pigmentation in darker skin types may be a challenge. This patient had some age-spots removed at another clinic, but leaving post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. With a combination of prescription fading agents and chemical peels, we managed to lighten the changes significantly over a number of months.
