Summary
Our team successfully addressed the acne and acne scar concerns of our patient. Over the course of four treatments, utilising Pulsed Dye Laser (PDL) and RF Needling techniques, alongside medical management by our Doctors, we witnessed remarkable improvements in her skin’s appearance and overall texture.
Pulsed Dye Laser (PDL) therapy played a vital role in reducing the redness and inflammation associated with acne, allowing the skin to heal more rapidly. The laser targeted and selectively damaged the blood vessels responsible for the redness, promoting their gradual disappearance. This resulted in a more even skin tone and a significant reduction in the visibility of active acne.
Furthermore, RF Needling, a technique involving the use of fine needles and radiofrequency energy, helped address the persistent acne scars. The controlled micro-injuries induced by the needles stimulated the production of collagen and elastin, two essential components for skin rejuvenation. Simultaneously, the radiofrequency energy delivered heat to the deeper layers of the skin, further enhancing collagen remodeling and scar improvement. As a result, the skin’s texture became smoother, and the acne scars gradually faded away.
