What is Radio Frequency (RF) microneedling treatment?
Intensif is a Radio Frequency skin needling treatment that is exceptionally effective for skin remodelling, deep within the skin. It emits RF pulses to the deeper layers of the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production.
Excellent for acne scar & general scar revision, neck tightening and rejuvenation.
Does RF microneedling really work on acne scarring?
Female jawline acne often leaves tethered scarring that may be challenging to treat.
Here, we used Infini RF needling, combined with fractionated CO2 Laser, to severely reduce the scarring left due to acne.

How does skin microneedling work?
Very fine needles are inserted into the skin, and then fractionated pulses are administered into the deep tissue through the needles, heating the skin and optimizing collagen remodeling.
How long is the treatment?
This is a relatively quick procedure, however you will also need to arrive one hour prior to treatment for application of anaesthetic cream. Please allow 20 minutes for your treatment, which includes preparation and treatment time. This is a no-downtime procedure and many patients go straight back to work following their visit.

Does skin needling hurt?
The very fine, high quality Gold Plated Microneedles are only 300 microns thin and do not hurt entering the skin. The warmth felt when the RF is emitted can feel warm and can be a little uncomfortable but only lasts for one second.
